" The skin is no more separate from the brain or heart than the surface of a lake is separate from its depths. They are two different locations in a continuous medium. To touch the surface is to stir its depths." ~Dean Juhan
Welcome to Ancient Roots Massage & Wellness!
I’m so happy you are here!
Here’s a little about Lucia:
I come to you all in support of your life paths with genuine compassion and love. I was magnetically drawn to natural health and healing from a very young age. I am here offering my intuitive touch rooted in ancient medicine (specifically Chinese and Japanese medicine/acupressure) to help people with their inner flow of our entire life force which continuously needs and yearns movement and balance.
I am thrilled and deeply honored to have found and connected with my true calling and path on this earth. It is my hearts work indeed. Of course along with being a mother of two Amazing daughters. Life feels complete.
2001 Graduated from SUNY Geneseo Bachelor of Science in Education
2008 Graduated from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Wholistic Health Counselor

My one year goal and plan is to study and get certified in Tui Na bodywork with Scott Moylan the fall of 2021.
My future plan is to study Japanese acupuncture and bodywork in depth specializing in pediatrics leading to my Masters and Doctorates degree.
I Love to learn! Chinese/Japanese medicine will be my lifelong learning journey. It will continue throughout my entire life and beyond.
I live in Shelburne with my husband Lee and two daughters Phoenix and Luna.
Some other things I Love: nature, swimming, hiking, dancing, being with my family, solitude, connecting with others, whole organic local foods, listening and reading from inspiring people like Thich Nhat Hanh, Eckhart Tolle, Wayne Dyer, Anita Moorjani, my Children, my Highest self and many, many others…
